About the intoduction of the proposed land bill by the government, i think the government is not being clear about it's intention.
The question is "why introduce a new bill or law yet the one that is existant is enough to solve the problem?"
Though consultation by the government non of the stake holders has approved the land bill as a solution to the current evictions that are taking place and many belive that this will cause more harm than good.
Take an example of the financial institutions that help the economy to run through offering loans to businesses, they urgue that there is no better collateral than land and that the introduction of this bill will reduce on the number of people who access these facilities. It should be the role of the government to make sure that people access the financial facilities through the availabe collateral that they can use. The introduction of this bill will fail many people to access these serices.
To solve the land problem the government should look within it's self since it is the officials in the government that evict people.
The problem is that the government has sort term solutions to people's problems other than sustainable ones and long run solutions
