The Muslim believers in the entire world have been observing fasting by abstaining from food, drinks and the rest for the holy month of Ramadan, which is the Ninth month in the Islamic calendar with 12 months like the Gregorian calendar.
Fasting for 29 or 30 days everyday from dawn to sunset. As it's stated in Devine scriptures that were given to prophets of God (Allah) like to Jesus (Issa) received the Bible (Injil), Moses (Musa) got the Taurat (Torah), and David (Dauda) got Zabur and the last one Muhammad (P.B.U.H) received the Quran as revelation to the entire world and God clearly stated his commandment to man like in Quran 2: 183"Oh ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you (ye) as it was prescribed to those before you, that ye may learn self -restraint/ piousness."
2 :184...Fasting for fixed number of days but if any of you is ill or on journey then should makeup the days missed, if you cannot then feed the needy. ...but it's better for you that you fast if ye only knew.
Islam has five pillars and the first one is to bear witness to oneness of God and Muhammad is a messenger of Allah. So Fasting is the fourth pillar, thus the Islamic scholars defined Islam as a complete way of life since everything is addressed in man's life and Islamic jurisprudence summed up that Islam is submission to the will of God or monotheism (Tawhed).
This matchless institution of Fasting, Islam planted an ever-growing tree of infinite virtue and invaluable products because of spiritual importance, fasting has countless benefits to humanbeings.
In perspective the past, present and future here leads us to recent speech the New beginning of President Barak Hussein Obama, addressed the Muslim Nations in Cairo Egypt passed on the good will of American people and Salaam Alaikum from the US Muslims.

On Tuesday, West Ham completed the £9 million signing of Germany Under-20 forward Savio Nsereko from Italian Serie B side Brescia. Nsereko, a 19-year-old midfielder born in Uganda, has scored three goals in 23 appearances this season.
Although Nsereko had interest from a number of clubs, including those in his native Germany, West Ham won out in the race to sign him due to Nsereko's desire to work with Hammers' manager Gianfranco Zola, as well as technical director Gianluca Nani ‘s relationship with Brescia. Nani ‘s father in-law, Luigi Corioni, is the current president of the Serie B club.
Nsereko signed a four-and-a-half year deal with the Hammers, and could make his debut with the club as early as tomorrow night in the fixture vs. Hull City.

After nearly half a decade in limbo, the Miss Uganda UK pageant was revived at the glamorous Miss Uganda UK 2009 Launch Party that was held at the Club Volts, London VIP Lounge. The party attracted lots of anxious prospective contestants, potential sponsors and personnel from the fashion and beauty industry.
Joyce Church, who is heading the Miss Uganda UK 2009 organising team promised to put together ‘the most glamorous Ugandan event of the year' in a speech that she delivered at the kick off for the search of the face of the Uganda community in UK. The team also includes the last crown Miss Uganda UK queen, Jacqueline Matovu, who is in charge of the contestants through her company JM Promotions.
The launch party that attracted hundreds of Ugandans across London was highlighted by performances from UK-based Ugandan artists, including Beatrice Byakika, MC Paddy Dee and Rasta Soki, OJ-who also features in the club hit Zino Ennaku alongside Radio Moze and Weasel, and Castor P. Other performers were Nelly Kibirige, MC Moseh, and Fiona Nsubuga. The line-up up of singers kept the excited crowd entertained with their energetic performances. It was a night of original compositions for them and a strictly Ugandan music playlist from the host DJS. These included DJ Isaac and Club Volts' DJ Ken. The surprise in the DJ box was DJ Dan Luv. The most prominent Ugandan DJ in the UK was a surprise appearance from the organisers. The DJs' strict playlist was a major hit with the crowd that rarely gets chance to dance to lots of Ugandan music in clubs. Karaoke night MC Nancy Kitaka was the hostess on the night with the help of MC Paddy Dee.
American Sickle Cell Rescue Fund "To work towards the improvement of the general quality of life for people with sickle cell disease through treatment, fighting against the stigma associated with the disease, providing education and information on Sickle Cell disease management"
Where do you come from?
I am originally from a village called Kiiti in Wakiso district, Bombo road, 15 miles from Kampala city.
Where did you go to school?
I attended primary school at Uganda Marty's girls' primary boarding school Namugongo. I attended secondary school at Ndejje and Caltec Academy in Uganda. I obtained a degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. I attended University of Detroit Mercy for masters in Nursing. Currently, I am enrolled at Stony Brook University in New York for completion of Master's degree in Family Nurse Practitioner.
How did you join the US Military and why?
As a United States Citizen, I was eligible to join any part of the four services I wanted. I decided to join the United States Air Force (USAF) in 2005 through the Officer Accession Program. I was immediately commissioned at a rank of second lieutenant. I attended the Commissioned Officer Training School at Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama. After graduation, I was posted at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. I joined the US military for three major reasons; first, to serve my country "America" and to give back to America for what it has enabled me to be who I am today. After 911, America was in great need of nurses like me to take care of the wounded soldiers and to support the men and women at war. Secondary, to be able to take care of my chronically ill child, and lastly, to use this plat form to help those unfortunate children suffering from sickle cell disease in Uganda.
After two successful years running the prestigious Miss East Africa UK,
Pauline Long has just launched Mr East Africa UK. The Kenyan born mother of two
introduced the male contest to work with and alongside Miss East Africa UK. Mr
and Miss East Africa UK beauty pageants main objectives are to fundraise,
campaign and raise awareness for the plight of underprivileged children in Kenya, Uganda,
Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi,
Ethiopia, Somalia, Sudan
and Eritrea.
When asked why there was a need to introduce Mr East Africa UK, Pauline said,
"I am giving equal opportunities to young East Africans, both male and female
to spread the awareness of poverty that strikes East African children. Besides,
having more voices to represent East African children is better than having one
voice. It's all about rallying up as many people as possible to get involved in
the campaigns."
