Greetings to you all.

I am happy to inform you that after prolonged and numerous negotiations, the Chicago Convention Host Hotel Search Team has successfully concluded a deal with the Chicago Marriot Downtown Magnificent Mile Hotel to be our host for the 2009 UNAA Convention.

The team was composed of the following members: 

1)      Lt. Frank Musisi, UNAA President

2)      Mr. Moses Kalemba, UNAA Vice President

3)      Mrs. Brenda Kiberu-Kalema, UNAA Treasurer

4)      Mr. John Mutyaba, UNAA Board member- Central. 

I would like thank to Ms. Henrietta Nairuba Wamala and the leadership of the local Ugandan Community in Chicago under Mr. Noah Bukenya and his team who led the initial search for the hotels. It was because of their hard work and advice that we were able to conclude the deal. Ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to say that we clinched one of the best convention deals in the UNAA history taking into consideration the inflation factor.

As we line up for the exciting convention in Orlando next month, let's also brace for yet another milestone event in Chicago under the UNAA National Board. I am very excited about all this and I am looking forward to working with the local community and leadership of the Chicago.
