Invitation to the Uganda Martyrs Day Feast in Boston

uccb_cover.jpgThe organizing committee for the celebration of the Feast of Saint Charles Lwanga and his Companions (The Uganda Martyrs) 2009 cordially invites you to the solemn Holy Mass.

Main Celebrant: Rt. Rev. Bishop Paul Ssemwogere of Kasana Luwelo Uganda. The Uganda Martyrs choir and the African Pearl Troupe from New York will preside over the liturgy of music.

MASS WILL BE FOLLOWED BY LUNCH & ENTERTAIMENT

  • 10:00 AM - UMC members convenes at church
  • 12:00 PM - Community members start arriving
  • 1:00 PM - Guests arriving,
  • 1:05 PM - Dressing of celebrants
  • 1:25 PM - Muguudo sounds
  • 1:30 PM - Procession begins from lower church hall
  • 1:45 PM - Announcements & recognition of invited guests
  • 2:00 - 3:30 PM - Holy Sacrifice of Mass Starts in Church
  • .4:30pm - Reception: - Guests seated
  • 4:45 PM - Moneygram Announcement
  • 5:00 PM - Guest of honor and his company arrive
  • 5:05 PM - Welcome remarks and introduction by MC
  • 5:15 PM -  Cultural dance entertainment - Ensemble
  • 5:20 PM - Blessing of the meal by his Lordship bishop Paul Ssemwogerere
  • 5: 25 PM - Moneygram and other Announcements
  • 6:30 PM - Chairman's address: Introduction of UCCB leaders
  • 6:45 PM - Cultural Entertainment - Ensemble
  • 7:00 PM - Announcements and comments of the Ugandan ambassador to theUSA.
  • 7:30 PM - Fr. Michael Nolan invites the Guest of honor toaddress the participants
  • 8:00 PM - Award and recognition (introduced by Fr. David Martin.)
  • 8:05 PM -  Bishop draws the Raffle
  • 8:10 PM - Cultural dance performance
  • 8:30 PM - Entertainment - Music and dance
  • 11:30 PM - Clean up begin
  • 12:30 PM - The end.
